Dear Dish-It, He Drives Me Crazy

Dear Dish-It,

Ok, I'm in grade 6 and this boy I like is in the 7th grade. We had a party at Christmas time and he was there. I was too shy to ask him to go with me because everyone was lookin' at me and they know I like him. He got my number but he hasn't called me. So I told everyone I don't like him, but I can't get him off my mind. Everytime I see him I blush... He drives me crazy. Now his friend likes me, but I like his other friend, Aritez. I don't know what to do. Help.
Ebony E.

Dear Ebony E.,

First things first girl... Give your head a shake! It simply isn't that hard to figure out who you like. If bachelor #1 hasn't called - so sad too bad. Your 'tude is totally right. Now you have to stop dreaming about him. That is easily done by thinkin' about Bachelor #3, the ohh-so-sweet Aritez. Don't even worry about Bachelor #2. You've aready said you're not interested. So nuff said. Back to #3 - you focus your thoughts on him, and you'll be over Mr. "I-don't-know-how-to-dial-your-digits" fast enough.

So, ya gotta burnin' question? Need some love directions? Thinkin' 'bout stuff like depression, sex,how ya feel 'bout YOURSELF (that's called "self-esteem"), boyfriends, girlfriends, losin' old friends, bullyin' or peer pressure, but too scared to ask the parents? Don't be scared to .

Friends grow apart as we grow up and change at different rates. It's fine to stop being friends, but it doesn't have to be in a mean way. The best thing to do is talk to her (nicely). You don't have to tell her she's being childish or you feel as if you've matured more. That would be terrible. Talk about things you guys like to do in common or make plans to try new things together. Or don't mention it at all, but don't just begin ignoring her. Eventually the friendship will fade the less time you spend together.

You should be nice to her. If you have to break the news gently don't make her feel bad just talk to her about and see what she says
