So, lately, are you just a lil' down? You're not alone. They're called the Winter Blues - or the Winter Blahs. Kidzworld picked five flicks you can rent to help beat the blahs. Check it out...

  • Legally Blonde

This flick is not only guaranteed to make you smile - it'll make you laugh until you pee. Reese Witherspoon does an incredible job as Elle Woods - a quirky fashion diva who heads to Harvard Law School to win back her ex. It's a must see - again and again and... - you get the picture.
  • Top Secret

An oldie, but still a goodie. This movie features a way-young Val Kilmer (once a cutie, always a cutie.) who gets involved in a top secret mission with a girl he digs. It's full of slap-stick human and goofy gags.
  • Ferris Bueller's Day Off

No one skips school like Ferris. He's the master. If you're looking for a cool adventure -or tips on how to fake an illness with the 'Rents, Ferris is your man.
  • Ace Ventura Pet Detective

Jim Carrey as a bumbling, slightly off-beat dude who loves animals. He makes classic Carrey faces and talks through his butt - what more could you want in a flick? And yeah, that's Monica Gellar (Courtney Cox) playing Ace's love interest.
  • Josie and the Pussycats
This flick is full of great music, great lines and crazy costumes. Right from the opening scene where Josie and the Pussycats are jamming in a bowling alley until the big, bad concert at the end, you'll be smiling. The boy band Du Jour are hysterical, thanks to Seth Green. This flick is better than catnip.

I haven't read any of the books or seen the previous movie so sadly, not particularly.

Brave, but only because there was no love interest and it wasn't a musical.

In the end Rapunzel and the guy fall in love. But in Brave she didn't need a man to be happy. She was the strong one not a prince. She was smart and confident. I love that. So even though Tangled was really funny i will always pick Brave. That's a really good point ^-^ I still like Tangled better. The plot made more sense and was better written (in my opinion though) I thought the humor was better as well; definitely a lot less crude! Also, the lack of songs in Brave bummed me out... it is a Disney Princess Movie :/ (Don't argue that it's Pixar!) Wait you think because it's a Disney movie there has to be singing!? Really that's dumb. Ok that Iis just my opinion. But really that's dumb.  No, that's not what I think. They're are plenty of Disney movies without singing. I just would appreciate that aspect -especially in a Disney Princess movie, but it's okay.
