Friends - Classic Quotes

Friends - Classic Quotes - Reviewed by Kidzworld on Dec 27, 2006

We all know and love the characters on Friends. Sometimes all they have to do is say one line and it's funny cuz it's who they are. Here are a few classic lines from the Friends' gang.

We all know and love the characters on the hit comedy Friends. Ross, Rachel, Phoebe, Monica, Chandler and Joey all have very different personalities that make each of them funny in their own way. Sometimes it only takes one line to send us into a laughing fit. Here are a few classic lines from the Friends' gang.

  • Joey - "How you doin'?" (Joey says this in a deep, self-confident voice.)
This line is probably the most frequently repeated line on the show, but it's still funny every single time cuz its so Joey trying to be the [kwlink]ladies man[/kwlink].
  • Monica - "Ok!" (Picture Monica saying this in a really high voice with a lot of [kwlink]enthusiasm[/kwlink]).
Monica says this all the time, but she seems to say it around Chandler the most. Usually when they agree on something and he's in favor of doing things her way.
  • Phoebe - "What she said." "What he said." (Usually blurted out quickly).
Phoebe pulls this line out of her sleeve a lot. When she's trying to get out of a sticky situation she'll often agree with the first explanation somebody offers.
  • Chandler - "Oh...... my...... God!" (Said with long pauses between words).
This line was made famous by Chandler's annoying, nasal-speaking ex-girlfriend, Janice. The phrase was even funnier when it came out of Chandler's mouth when Janice came back.
  • Ross - "We were on a break!" (Usually spoken in a whiny voice). Ross has used this excuse more than a couple of times, since he got together with another girl and destroyed his relationship with Rachel. He fed the same line to his son Ben, who later freaked Rachel out by repeating it to her long after she broke-up with his dad.
  • Rachel - "Monica, would you calm down?" (Said in an exasperated voice.)
Being a long-time roomie and friend of Monica, all her weird obsessions has made Rachel tell Monica to calm down on more than one occasion.

Friends - The Complete Eighth Season on DVD

Friends may not be a part of your prime time TV line up anymore, but lucky for all you fans, Friends is now available on DVD. Grab your copy of all ten seasons to catch episodes from the days when Ross and Rachel weren't a couple yet, Chandler and Monica were just good friends and Joey was still a struggling New York actor. It doesn't come with any extras, just the basics. If you can convince the 'rents to shell out a couple hundred bucks for this, it will be great to add to your growing collection.

Friends - Ten Season Box Set DVD Rating:

Do you have a favorite line from Friends? your fave line or something about an episode that had you in stitches.

1 I love watching Friends, it's my fave show. I think it's funny when Janice goes OH... MY... GOD... and so does Chandler.

But that's like waaayyyy after the Justice League. Which comic was this because the only man in any DC continuity that has ever "killed" Superman was Doomsday. Are you sure that wasn't an Elseworld story?
