Ice Age takes you on a trip back in time to when the world was one great big snowball and everybody would ditch their digs and migrate south for winter so they didn't end up giant popsicles.

Enter the stars of Ice Age - Manfred (Ray Romano) the moody mammoth, Sid (John Leguizamo) the screwball sloth and Diego (Denis Leary) the sabertooth tiger with an attitude. These prehistoric weirdos have a baby dropped in their laps and ditch the yearly migration to return the kid to her parents.

That kicks off a wacky adventure that has to be seen to be believed! The misfits run across insane dodo birds, a dainty pair of rhinos, murderous sabertooths and a wild underground ice slide. The out-of-control slide through the ice cavern is the best part of Ice Age - you'll laugh so hard you'll pee!

Ice Age really kicks it for three big reasons:

  • #1 - The characters are a riot! They're like rejects from a stand-up comedy show, especially the poor dodos.
  • #2 - The animation - WOW! Everything right down to Manfred's nose hair looks great.
  • #3 - Scrat - the sabertooth squirrel is constantly popping up and getting in serious trouble while he's trying to hide his nut.

The only problems with Ice Age are that it's pretty short and a few things just don't make sense. I mean, c'mon - a sabertooth vs. a human? The cat would kick butt.
