SSX Snowboarding :: PS2 Game Review
If you're into snowboarding the PS2 has a game worth trading your dog for. Comin' at ya from the true-north, strong and free, those wacky Canadians at EA Canada have crafted the smoothest, prettiest and noisiest snowboarding game you'll ever twiddle your thumbs at.
SSX Snowboarding PS2 Game GoodnessThe huge courses load quick, look great and are totally wacked. You can board on a tropical glacier, through the insides of a pinball machine and across the rolling dunes of a snowy desert. It's chocked full of jumps, obstacles and a heap o' shortcuts on every track. A new toy - the adrenaline bar - fills up when you score tricks and boosts you up for extra speed. More tricks = more speed. Woo hoo!
SSX Snowboarding Rock 'n Roll Sound FX
The music is excellent - tons of hot artists and cool tracks to groove to as you speed down the course. If you're top dog down the hill you get the full musical experience but if some punk cuts you out of first place you lose some tunes as well. The farther back you are the weaker the tunes get so step it up or you'll be missin' out.
SSX Snowboarding Game Secrets
Startin' the game off gets you 4 boarders and there's 4 more waitin' in the sidelines, you just gotta unlock 'em first. The boarders all have their own style, board, outfit and skills. Learn them quickly and the hills will be yours.
