The Rock

Birthdate: May 2, 1972

The future Scorpion King was born in Hayward, California. That's where WWF superstar "The Rock," aka Dwayne Douglas Johnson, started kicking butt. The first thing he did when he was born was lay some smackdown on the doc who whacked his butt - he gave the guy a shot from the people's elbow then pinned him for the three-count. Nobody slaps the Scorpion King!

After becoming the undisputed champ of the nursery, The Rock went on to start playing high school football at age 14 and became one of the top defensive tackles in the country. The Rock put the smackdown on pro football, winning a championship in his first year and joining the CFL in '95, before moving into professional wrestling in November '96. His movie career started in 2001 with The Mummy Returns and is flying high with The Scorpion King. The Scorpion King is kinda a prequel to The Mummy and The Mummy Returns.

As a WWF wrestler, The Rock started off as Rocky Maiva - honoring his father, wrestling legend Rocky Johnson, and his mother's Samoan side of the family which included the High Chief Peter Maiva. Even the star of The Scorpion King isn't invincible though. After taking time off to recover from a knee injury he came back to the WWF as The Rock and everybody's been able to "smell what The Rock is cooking" ever since. Big Bill Gates picked the 6'4", 270 pound dude as the famous face to represent the Xbox. Did we mention he has enough WWF belts to fill an entire room and even Hollywood knows that he's the king - the Scorpion King that is.

If ruling the WWF wasn't enough, The Rock is now kicking butt in Hollywood - he's bigger than life in The Scorpion King and he's the best part of the movie. All he needs to do now to rule the world is to make everyone forget that the Scorpion King's real name is Dwayne.
