While E3 is smoking up LA, the rest of the world is watching the ultimate console war. Sony started it with the Playstation 2 price plunge, then Microsoft took the hint and dropped the price on the Xbox. Now Nintendo is cutting the cost on the Gamecube from $199 US ($299 CDN) down to $149 US ($229 CDN.) This means that the Gamecube is still the cheapest of the three and it still rocks.
