Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Game: Basic Game Review

The story of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Collectible Card Game (CCG) and the Yu-Gi-Oh! TV show is about Yugi Motto. Yugi Motto is a high school student who was given a present called the Millennium Puzzle. When the teenager put the Millennium Puzzle together he freed a young pharaoh who was locked in the puzzle for a millennium. The pharaoh gave Yugi the knowledge of the shadow games. The monsters in the shadow games were real before the pharaoh locked them away in the cards that are now called Duel Monsters.

When Yugi was challenged to a Yu-Gi-Oh! Collectible Card Game duel by the creator, Maximillion Pegasus, he lost and his grandfather's soul was taken. Now Yugi and his four friends Joey, Taya, Baccura and Tristan are on a quest to the Duelist Kingdom to save his grandfather and overcome the greatest Yu-Gi-Oh! duelist in the world.

In real life, there is a collectible card game based on Yu-Gi-Oh! and there are tournaments all over the world that are taking place right now. I am playing in one of the Yu-Gi-Oh! CCG tournaments in the US.

To play the Yu-Gi-Oh! Collectible Card Game, you must have a plan of attack and the cards to back it up. In a duel, each player starts off with 8,000 life points and the object is to bring your opponent's life down to zero. When you beat a monster, you deduct half of its defense from your points.

The Yu-Gi-Oh! Collectible Card Game is a fun game to play and the Yu-Gi-Oh! TV show is great. I hope you like it as much as I do or that you'll try to watch it.

Yu-Gi-Oh is a great game to play and has an amazing show to back it up. I just wish the cards did not cost so much. LOL.
