How to Train Your Dragon, Rooms, and Build-a-Bear

Keep up-to-date with all the latest video game releases! Kidzworld has all the latest games to keep watch for. This week, we preview How to Train Your Dragon, Rooms, and Build-a-Bear Workshop!

How to Train Your Dragon

The video game version of Dreamworks' How to Train Your Dragon movie gives a new, post-film storyline for the dragon you create! After customizing your dragon, you get the chance to fight and level up to become the ultimate dragon trainer. Several mini-games give you more of the XP and gold you need to train your dragon. Unfortunately, if you're looking for real advice on how to train your pet Komodo Dragon, I'm afraid this game is of no help. I know I was disappointed. Check out our How to Train Your Dragon review.

Rooms: The Main Building

Rooms: The Main Building is a sliding tile puzzle game for the DS with a secret past. Your character must move through 100+ rooms that have, rather oddly, been rearranged. By fixing the room (or using a power-up like a ladder or telephone, which will let you get around especially tough rooms) you can move on, talking to other people along the way to find out how this world got so switched-up. Once you've really got it down, you can make your own puzzles and share them with friends over a Wi-Fi connection, laughing as they scratch their heads in frustration.

Build-a-Bear Workshop

There are actually two different Build-a-Bear games coming out this week, Welcome to Hugsville for the DS and Friendship Valley for the Wii. In Welcome to Hugsville, players can build their own bear then take him on the town, completing adventures and mini-games. Friendship Valley lets you build your own bear too, but with the chance to build and customize your own town! Both games keep the Build-a-Bear spirit of customization and interactivity at heart, so you know you're creating something all of your own.

Dragon_quiz

If you could customize your own battling dragon, what feature would you want it to have most?

  • It would be able to fly using its wings
  • It would be able to breathe fire
  • It would be much smarter than other dragons
  • It would be able to hear the faintest sounds

Okay, it's not a major console or PC game, but the "How to Train Your Dragon" game just became free so I thought I'd share. I absolutely loved "How to Train Your Dragon," so I was so happy when I saw this app finally become free. It's so fun for a simple puzzle mobile game! It's so well-done, AND YOU CAN PLAY AS TOOTHLESS. Ahh, it's the best! Just thought I'd share this with you all in case there are other "How to Train Your Dragon" fans out there!

Well Wittzle Pro is a mental math card game. It's where you have to roll dice to find a target number and look for an equation using three numbers in the same row, colum,or diagonal. When you find it you yell wittzle and you call out your equation. If you get it right you get the point.

The first game came out in 1991  ;) Anyway, I love Sonic! I stink at the games though lol My favorite characters are Knuckles and Charmy And I agree that this is the best single-player game ever!

At least you aren't restricted to TTC/or be only able to try the 3-day trial.  We're actually very lucky now; nonmembers don't give Disney a lick of money. I think Toontown is very different from Club Penguin.  It has a full plot and it's 3-Dimensional.  Also, you don't really do all that much in Club Penguin other than chat and do some mini-missions.  Also, the games were targeted to a different audience... and I feel that Toontown has more memories than Club Penguin; though that may be a bit biased as I don't really have any friends on Club Penguin (LOL), don't really play anymore anyway.
