Flicka 2 :: DVD Review

When Carrie (Tammin Sursok), a skater teen from the big city, moves to her dad’s ranch, her first impression of country life is negative: the cell-phone reception sucks and her dad doesn’t even have a satellite dish! But then Carrie meets Flicka, a beautiful, black mustang (a wild horse) who she actually learns to ride with the help of handsome cowhand Jake (Reilly Dolman).
Unfortunately, a champion rider named Amy (Emily Tennant) is also interested in Flicka and, when the horse breaks free from the ranch she sets off a chain of events that could send her to the slaughterhouse.
Fun fact: One horse is never enough. They used eight different “Flickas” in the making of the movie!
