Green Day Rock Band, Tiger Woods 11, and Pure Futbol

Jun 02, 2010

Keep up-to-date with all the latest video game releases! Kidzworld has all the latest games to keep watch for. This week, we preview Green Day Rock Band, Tiger Woods 11, and Pure Futbol!

Green Day: Rock Band

Like The Beatles: Rock Band, Green Day: Rock Band lets you step into the history of a band and play their music on your own Guitar Hero and Rock Band controllers. But this time, you are punk and alternative band Green Day, jamming to Boulevard of Broken Dreams and American Idiot. You go through their career history, earning real rare photos and video of the band as you play. You can even export their songs into Rock Band 2 if you want, letting you play along with your other old music as well.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11

The latest Tiger Woods ups the realism in a number of ways while still keeping the same great golf gameplay. A new feature called TrueAim keeps the camera behind your golfer so you can't place every shot exactly where you want it. Instead, you have to just gauge the distance and your power and give it your best shot. This is also the first Tiger Woods title that relies totally on experience points for advancement in-game, so you can move your ability statistics around as you please before each round. Add to that several new courses and players, and you've got a serious new entry in the series.

Pure Futbol

Pure Futbol gives fast-paced, extreme soccer action without any referees to slow things down every five seconds. Teams are reduced down to five-a-side, streamlining the experience like NFL Blitz or FIFA Street might. You can create your own player to kick it with, or choose one of 17 international teams or 3 teams of legendary players. The game also spices things up by changing the camera angle from that same old boring side-view to a behind-the-shoulder shot when things heat up, bringing you closer to the action.
