Skater Style

Skateboarding for girls is making a comeback and with it comes skater style of course! Cool sneakers and high tops, skinny jeans, boyfriend cut jeans, hoodies and graphic tanks and tees are all key staples of any skater girl wardrobe. Skater style requires that you need to invest in a good pair of sneakers. There are a lot of shops out there that have skater style sneakers but make sure you buy a pair that are super comfortable - you need a lot of support when you're riding that board! Vans, Converse and Nike IDs are all popular brands of skate shoes but test out a few different ones to make sure they fit you just right!

Skateboard Chic

Skater style is very similar toCalifornia beach girl style in feel! Instead of a surf board though, you're getting on a skateboard! Colourful hoodies, graphic tees and tanks all have a bit of attitude and are not overly cutesy. Accessories like jewelry are kept to a minimum so hats, bags and shoes are good outlets to show your creativity. It's mostly about wearing jeans and shorts as it's a precarious balancing act attempting to skate in a dress and flats!
