Will Ferrell and Jon Heder team up to take on the world of figure skating in Blades of Glory. Will this new comedy score a triple lutz or fall face first on the ice? Read Kidzworld's review to find out!

Blades of Glory - Bitter Enemies

Jimmy MacElroy (Jon Heder) and Chazz Michael Michaels (Will Ferrell) are the best figure skaters in the world, but they are banned from competition when they make a mockery of the sport in front of millions of adoring fans. Both sink into a deep depression, but are dragged out of it by Jimmy's creepy stalker and his ex-coach - who are both determined to see these figure skating aficionados win gold, even if it means skating as a pair!

Blades of Glory - Unconventional Training

Jimmy and Chazz have many obstacles to overcome if they expect to win gold as a pairs team. First, they have to get over the fact that they hate each other! Next they'll have to learn all the right moves so they can take on the current pairs champions - Stranz and Fairchild Van Waldenberg! Jimmy and Chazz don't have much time either, so their coach forces them to do everything together - from training to sleeping (in bunk beds!).

Blades of Glory - High Scores?

Scene after scene of Blades of Glory is chock full of funny lines. Will Ferrell, as always, brings his A-game and Jon Heder plays his sissy boy part perfectly. If watching these two skate around in frou-frou spandex outfits isn't enough comedy for you, the ridiculous situations and supporting characters certainly will be.

Blades of Glory - Bottom Line

There's definitely some crude humor in this flick, so it's best to leave your younger sibs at home. But if you're a fan of Will Ferrell, you wn't want to miss out on Blades of Glory. Be prepared to laugh until you cry. And if you laugh so hard during the movie that you pee your pants, no one would blame you!

Blades of Glory Rating:5
