It's just about September and that means it's time for back-to-school shopping to begin! Take a look at what fall fashions and clothes are hot in 2002.

You've got all your binders, pencils and loose-leaf paper ready for your big return to school but do you know what you're gonna wear? Before you arrive in your summer uniform of shorts and flip-flops, why not take a look at what's going to be hot, hot, hot this fall?

Glam Girl

If you want to make a glam girl impression this fall, then you better think about stocking up on some denim. Whether it's lace-up jeans, a cute denim mini or a stylin' jean top, it'll be a piece you're glad you picked up. Denim is super versatile and can be dressed up or dressed down, so don't be shy to mix and match your wardrobe.

Athletic Chic

Velour jogging suits have never been so cool. Once a staple for the retired man in Palm Springs, superstars like J. Lo and Madonna have revived this comfy outfit. And even though J. Lo dons her stilettos every time she slips into her sweats, you might want to stick to some funky platform runners.

It's All About The Accessories

Belts are back in a huge way. Match them with a long skirt or a pair of cords. The chunkier the belt you can find, the better. And don't be shy to add some turquoise necklaces, bracelets or rings to your ensemble. It's the perfect thing to give your look a little extra hippie-oomph!

Back To School Boys

Boys can look forward to heading back to school in style (and comfort,) this fall too. Look to grab a new pair of baggy jeans, a comfy hooded sweatshirt and some cool, new T-shirts. Look for those T's that have some cool, fun sayings on them or look for a place that will print custom sayings on your shirts. You'll have all the girls dying to read your fall motto.

I'm glad that everyone is ready for a change of pace in fashion this year. And all of us that have moms who liked the 80's era, we don't have to spend any cash on clothes. You can just have your mom shrink those peasant tops. I'm glad because I've been wearing stripes for years. I'm glad I don't have to buy anything!
