After watching MTV’s The Hills for the last few years, we just love the fact that Lauren Conrad (or LC as she was known back then!) has blossomed into such a style icon! From Laguna Beach, California high school girl to Teen Vogue intern and now author and designer of her own clothing collection, we always knew she was one to watch! What we love about her style is that it’s pretty and polished while still maintaining that relaxed California girl style. Lauren loves to dress up but somehow she always looks glamorous without looking like she is trying too hard. How does she do it? For one, she keeps things simple by not overwhelming her outfits with too many trendy details or accessories. Whether it’s floral, biker, stripes or shorts, she keeps things sleek with shiny, glossy hair, a simple black quilted purse and brown high heel sandals. She also knows how easy it is to dress up a pretty top with skinny dark jeans, high heels and a cute braidin her hair.
