Keep up-to-date with all the latest video game releases! Kidzworld has all the latest games to keep watch for. This week, we preview Rock Band 3, Force Unleashed 2, and Costume Quest!

Rock Band 3

Rock Band 3 has a new "pro mode" that gives you the most realistic experience possible without just giving you a Stratocaster, amp, and book of tabs and telling you to have at it. A special new (optional) guitar controller has a different button for every fret of the guitar, six across for every row all the way down, so what you play in pro mode mirrors pretty much exactly how you might play the song on a real guitar. Also new is the keyboard, bundled in with some forms of the game and also compatible with pro mode's realistic sets.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2

Darth Vader's Sith Apprentice Starkiller returns in Force Unleashed 2, with some new tricks. In fact, Force Mind Trick is his best new ability, which turns Starkiller's enemies against themselves (so long as they're weakminded, of course). Another power, Force Fury, gives you a incredible boost in power for a very temporary period of time, so you can stock it up for those really tough encounters in each level. And returning from the first game is a detailed physics engine that makes combat so. much. fun. Oh man, everybody flies around in such an awesome way.

Costume Quest

Costume Quest is a new downloadable title for the Xbox 360 from the same studio that brought us Brutal Legend and Psychonauts. Set on Halloween night, you control a group of trick-or-treaters who face a little more adversity than a regular night, and they have to use their super-powered costumes to become giant robots, unicorns, knights, or whatever their costume may be, fighting off the enemies. You get to find hidden items and quests in this adventure RPG, meeting some crazy characters along the way.
