Hi Coach!


I am 13 years old and I am a female. I am quite thin and I need some advice on how to get abs in at least three weeks. Not just a flat stomach like I want it to show. Please help me.

It sounds like you’re off to Hawaii and you want to look good on the beach in your bathing suit. OK, that’s a pretty good reason to want to get toned abs, but for the rest of you, it’s a lot healthier and easier to get nice abs if you gradually work on them 20 minutes a day… however if you only have 3 weeks, you need dedication and hard work. So what are we waiting for!? Let’s get to it!

When Mr. Miyagi trained Daniel in the movie Karate Kid, he got him to sand and paint a very long fence for hours and hours a day. The repetition and long hours made Daniel’s arms strong really fast. It was also a very smart way to get someone to work hard for a long time, because there was a motivation to finish the job. You should find a job where you can move your body with your abs like scrubbing and polishing floors. You might even make someone happy with some shiny clean floors.


Flexing Forever

Another secret is to flex your stomach… all the time! You can actually flex and release your stomach while sitting still and no one will even know that you are doing it. You can flex your abs while you’re studying, while you’re walking to school, or even while waiting in line to buy the new iPhone. Just flexing your stomach with proper breathing is a pretty good workout.


Sit-Ups, Crunches and Ab-Machines

Of course you really have to do as much ab exercises as possible. From sit-ups to yoga, to those miracle ab machines you see on infomercials… if you can work on your abs all night while watching movies and TV shows, getting these washboard abs can be quite fun!


Don’t Forget About Food

Don’t forget to watch what you eat. By exercising your abs all the time, your body is going to crave the fat it is burning off. Make sure to stay away from junk food and hamburgers and eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables.

Mayo lost against Dublin again. 1-16 to 1-17. I support Mayo, and I am horrified to be honest. I don't want to sound like a sore loser, but I think Dublin fouled Mayo way more times than they were punished for it. Mayo rarely got any frees and the last free of the game was a minute before it ended and Dublin were taking it from very far away. Of course, they got it. Up until then, it was 1-16 to 1-16. I guess Mayo won't be taking home the cup again for another year.
