2011 Prom Fashion

Prom is just around the corner and luckily there’s no need to break the bank to look your best! We’ve searched far and wide to find the most stylish prom dresses around and the best part is most of them are under $100! Whether you want to go super girly, 1970s style or classic prom style, you’re bound to feel like a million bucks on prom night!

Finding the Right Dress

Just because it’s prom night doesn’t mean you have to wear a traditional prom dress. It doesn’t have to be satin, strapless or shiny! You can channel the ballet trend with a pale pink ruffled frock, go with a little black dress, wear floral or animal print - it’s the perfect night to let your own personal style dictate what you wear! Don’t be afraid to break out of your normal style on prom night too! If you’re normally a t-shirt and jeans type of girl, go for all out feminine glamour with a floor length maxi dress or if you normally wear a lot of prints and floral go for an elegant little black dress and lots of accessories!

Statement Jewelry

The best way to make your dress stand out is with accessories - more specifically statement jewelry! Just putting an amazing statement necklace on will transform your dress into something more unique and stylish. Or if you prefer earrings, rock a pair of chandelier or drop earrings. Just don’t do both huge earrings and statement necklace - you don’t want to overwhelm yourself with jewelry! Add a sparkly or metallic bracelet or cuff or an armful of bangles for some stylish prom arm candy.

Accessorize Your Hair!

We love the current hair accessories trend! Try a sparkly headband, a flower corsage or some sequined barrettes to add a bit of sparkle to your hair! Go ballet style with a prom bun hairstyle accessorized with a thin headband! Or pin back your wavy/curly hair with some cute clips or bows - perfect for prom night!

Is there a particular reason or situation causing you to feel this way? I can't provide much advice other than talk to them about it. Communication is important.

He is a jerk, but then what ?? He is your best friend . Maybe you should tell him to sleep for an extra hour. It may be a lack of sleep.

No. I don't like those people at the mall. Sometimes, they ask my family and I (usually directed at my mom and sister, but sometimes at me, too. Even though I'm under 13. Not for long though.) if they want their hair done. And sometimes I'm so tempted to say, "No thank you. I did my hair today. Do you think I want it done?" But of course I never do. It's kinda disrespectful. So we just usually say No thank you. My mom, sister, and I now have a solution for that (my idea when I was maybe ages 9-11) Don't make eye contact with them and pretend that they aren't there.
