Gossip Girl: Season 4, Episode 22 :: The Wrong Goodbye

May 16, 2011

On the Season 4 finale of Gossip Girl, we find out that not everyone is who they seem. Check out Episode 22, “The Wrong Goodbye,” which aired on May 16, 2011.

Blair Held Hostage

This episode continues where the last left off. Blair is expected at a party, but when she doesn’t show up, Chuck goes looking for her. He receives an intentional pocket dial from Blair during which she cleverly announces her whereabouts. Russell Thorpe is holding her hostage and even plans to kill her by setting another fire. Chuck, Nate and Raina arrive in time to save Blair.

Instead of going to the party, Blair and Chuck crash a Bar Mitzvah which leads to an intimate evening. Later, Chuck encourages Blair to go back to Prince Louis. He has finally matured enough to realize that Blair is at her best when she’s with Louis, and Chuck only brings out the dark side in them both.

Charlie On The Loose

Meanwhile, Charlie is missing at the party. Serena, Vanessa and Dan are searching for her, while Georgina Sparks tries to push her way back into the action. Serena discovers Charlie at an open window, and talks her down. Charlie admits that she wants to be like Serena, and realizes that maybe New York isn’t the best place for her after all.

Charlie takes a bus back to Florida, where viewers see the deception that’s been going on for many episodes. Charlie is not Serena’s cousin. Serena’s Aunt paid this girl—Ivy—to pretend to be her daughter. But now that Ivy’s had a taste of the big apple, she may not be ready to give it up.

Gossip Girl Fashion in “The Wrong Goodbye”

Serena looked dazzling in her Jenny Packham Cruise S/S 2011 Coral Embellished Drape Gown. She accessorized with an outrageously expensive snowflake cuff by Matthew Campbell Laurenza (worth $2,820).

Charlie sported Serena’s gold Pamela Dennis Couture Dress. And while we don’t know if she copied Serena’s accessories, she did where an Alexis Bittar Lucite Square Bangle.

I thought it'd be cool for all the anime fans if there was a forum where we could find friends who like the anime we do :) Personally I really need some more friends who like what I do. Maybe you'll find someone who shares your love for something really obscure! Including manga too. To start off here are some favorites of mine: (just because one isn't here doesn't mean I might not like it too so everyone please share yours!) Black Butler D. Gray-Man No.6 Yu-Gi-Oh Seraph of the End Puella Magi Madoka Magica Horimiya Kekkai Sensen Free! Kyoukai no Kanata Tamako Market (especially its movie!!) My Little Monster Mekakucity Actors (and that whole music project that it's based on) Toradora! haven't finished reading/watching but like: (if you like it I'll make it a priority :)) Akagami no Shirayuki-hime Pandora Hearts Kyou Kara Maou Kuroko no Basket Noragami Kiznaiver  Bungou Stray Dogs The World Is Still Beautiful Ajin Haikyuu!! Aldnoah.Zero Princess Tutu That's all I could think of for now! What are yours? Note: No bashing other people's faves! Have debates/flame wars elsewhere. (Especially about Sword Art Online. Let's not even touch that)

Finding Nemo, only because Finding Dory took awhile to establish itself.

Which channel do you think as of today is the best channel for kids today on cable. I would probably go with Disney XD. It's just as good as it was back in 2009 in my opinion and it has a great selection of shows. What do you think is the definitive channel for kids in 2016?
