Emily and Hanna finally become roommates after Emily’s mom agrees that she can stay in Rosewood. But, nothing goes unnoticed by “A” who sends Hanna a gift basket with a nasty note. The new living arrangements put a strain on Emily and Hanna’s relationship, causing the girls to drift apart. But when they spot Hanna’s mom and dad secretly canoodling in the hallway Spencer helps Hanna through the situation and all is forgiven.
Double Trouble
Aria’s parents plan a small cocktail party at their house and Aria’s dad invites a bunch of his university colleagues, including Ezra. Unfortunately for Aria, her mom decides to also invite Jason. With two boys under one roof, what is she to do? During the party Aria’s parents get called away to an emergency and so all of the guests leave, except Ezra and Jason. Ezra pulls Aria aside and quizzes her about Jason, showing signs of jealousy and suspicion.
Dead End
As the girl’s continue to search for Alison’s real killer, police officer Garret keeps throwing them off track with lies and false evidence. Toby discovers a broken field hockey stick burried in Spencer’s backyard, but Spencer’s dad snatches it away before he can give it to the girls. Turns out, Spencer had given the stick to Alison the summer before she died. With a possible murder weapon, Spencer is more determined than ever to find out the truth. That same day Aria finds the vase that Jenna had made in pottery class in her kitchen cupboard. She questions her brother, who has been breaking into houses in the neighborhood. Turns out the vase came from officer Garret’s house, making the girls realize they can’t trust anyone.
