Is Christina Aguilera Too Dirrty?

If you were a pop singer, how far would you go to promote your latest album? Would you prance around in a g-string, a pair of cowboy chaps and a bikini top? Would you call your first single Dirrty (she's not talking mud, people) and your upcoming CD, Stripped? Christina Aguilera has done it and she also finds herself in some pretty racy positions in Dirrty, her latest video.

We haven't seen Christina Aguilera for a while but now we're seeing just about ALL of her. There's nothing wrong with being sexy or writing sexy songs, but there is something wrong with it when the people who buy your records are young. If Christina Aguilera is going to drop her younger fans for a more mature audience, and slap a parental advisory on her latest CD, then that would be okay. However, Christina's previous album was totally targeted for teens and so that's her fan base. Those are the peeps who will be buying Stripped. How far should singers go to promote their material and what is considered mature and what is just plain skanky?

Who cares what she wears? It's the music and talent that counts, and she has the most amazing voice! If anything, she is a good inspiration for children. She is dressing how she wants and obviously feels secure in herself, that is what counts.
