Kelly Slater

Kelly Slater is the greatest surfer in the world. Kelly has 11 ASP world titles. That’s eight more than any other surfer. That’s like a decade of domination over anyone else. Kelly definitely deserves credit for his super human surfer status.

Manny Pacquiao

Manny Pacquiao is the greatest boxer in the world. This little dude is only 5’6” but I don’t even think Mike Tyson would last 10 rounds with him. Manny is just too quick. He’s like the Road Runner and his competition is like the Coyote. Manny is the first boxer to ever win the world title in eight different weight classes.

Marta Vieira Da Silva

Marta Vieira Da Silva has won the FIFA World’s Best Player five years in a row. She’s known as “Queen Marta” and she is so much better than the competition, she doesn’t even look like a soccer player… she looks like a dancer. Check out her moves.

Kobe Bryant

You know this cat named Kobe Bryant? The boy has got mad hops! Everyone said Kobe only won the NBA championship because of Shaquille O’Neil. They won the title three times together. However, Kobe went on to win it two more times with no other flashy superstars… eat your heart out Lebron James.

Tiger Woods

Coutesy of the PGACoutesy of the PGA

Tiger Woods is the highest paid athlete in the world, but his recent play might show that money isn’t everything. Tiger was on pace to break all the golfing records, but something seems to have gone wrong as Tiger has not won a major title since 2007.

Sidney Crosby

Coutesy of the NHLCoutesy of the NHL

Sidney Crosby is the best hockey player in the world. "Sid the Kid” is only 24 years old and he is totally dominating the NHL. Even though he hurt his nogan with a concussion, he led his Pittsburgh Penguins to two Stanley Cup finals the previous two years, winning it in 2009. His injury proved that his team needs him to win, and since his return they look unbeatable.

Peyton Manning

Peyton Manning has proven that he is definitely the most important player to his team in the NFL.  Peyton’s team the Indianapolis Colts were always a contender to win the Super Bowl, but since Peyton got injured, the team can’t even make the playoffs.

Usain Bolt

Lionel Messi

Lionel Messi is the greatest soccer player on the field these days. Although it’s tough to judge a player because soccer is such a team game, Lionel is ranked number one even though he has never won a World Cup.

Serena Williams

Serena Williams dominates tennis like you dominate an ant on the sidewalk.  Serena has won more prize money than any other female athlete in history and she’s only 30 years old.

Talk about your experiences on your journey to making it to the NBA if you share this dream, and how it is coming along from the beginning to now. I can offer some advice to help along the way whether it be effective workouts or how to excel in your school's basketball team.
