MLB 12: The Show
You don't have to be a big baseball fan to enjoy this PlayStation 3 exclusive sports game. If the duel between pitcher and batter thrills you, you will have a great time with this game. The graphics are super impressive, with players looking and moving like their real life counterparts.
New features this year include improved ball physics, which allows you to throw some wicked pitches and also makes the ball bounce of the plate in random ways. Pitching itself has been changed, with the accuracy/power meter being replaced with a pulsing circle. There is also a new mode in Diamond Dynasty, where you can hand pick your entire team, including custom players. Trade and compete with other players online!
Best in Show?
Overall, MLB 12: The Show has made a great game even better. The only big complaint about the game is that the commentators are a bit bland and tend to make the game feel less exicting. However, MLB 12: The Show does feature PlayStation Move and 3D TV support. With the 3D TV, you can play with friend locally using SimulView and see different things on the same TV! Overall, if you are a baseball fan, MLB 12 is definitely worth picking up.
