Designer Competition

This week, the top 7 contestants received the opportunity of a lifetime. They walked in a runway show for four designers who were competing to win a $40,000 prize. The model picked to open the show for the winning designer received a two-night stay at a beautiful Dorchester hotel. Sophie, Annaliese and Alisha were all chosen, but it was Alisha’s design team, Anndra Neen, who took the win.

Hello Kitty

Later, the girls modeled in a Hello Kitty photo shoot. Every outfit, made entirely of Hello Kitty product, was designed specifically for the shoot. In an unusual twist, their photographer was a 16-year-old named Ann who won a “Seventeen” magazine photography contest.

Seymone Struggles

Many girls struggled with this shoot due to the restrictions of their costumes. Seymone, who never fails to complain about something, wound up with a very obnoxiously large headpiece that made it difficult to move into a variety of positions. The result of Seymone’s struggle on set was evident in her photos. She looked very uncomfortable and not at all like a model.

Eboni’s Brand Backfires

Eboni also struggled, but it was more because she failed to keep that youthful look in keeping with her “30-never” brand - the brand Tyra assigned to her. Unfortunately, Eboni’s personality doesn’t match the cute, innocent, pig-tail-wearing image that Tyra has created, making her photo shoots a struggle.

Elimination

Alisha received best photo along with the challenge win, while Seymone and Eboni found themselves in the bottom two. But it was Seymone’s bad attitude that sealed her fate and she was sent home. Now the Brits lead four to two. Looks like they may just claim a victory after all.
