Lost and Found

The episode opens with Hanna talking to Spencer trying to find an episode that doesn’t show her “gaping wound”. When Hanna doesn’t pick up Wren’s call Spencer quickly figures out that her former British beau is now into Hanna, but Hanna only has eyes for Caleb – even if they can’t be together. When Pastor Ted comes by he tells Mrs. Marin about a thumbdrive of videos, some featuring Hanna, that he found in the pews. Spencer and Hanna try to steal it but Hanna’s mom catches her, later however Mrs. Marin realizes that the video also has footage of her and drops it down the garbage disposal, relieving Hanna’s fears that her mom will take it to the police.

Ezra’s Offspring

It’s Ezra’s birthday, but with his worries about what happened to Maggie plaguing him he’s in no mood to celebrate. She decides to go and find Maggie in Wilmington herself, pretending to be a college student who also wants to become a teacher. Maggie has a son the perfect age to be Ezra’s son. Confused about what to do Aria goes back to Ezra’s apartment and when his younger brother stops by she spills it all to him. Ezra comes back singing a different tune – he called Maggie and she said she’s fine, and didn’t mention his son! His brother tells Aria that perhaps she’s worried that she’ll be cut off.

Turning Paige

Spencer agrees to help Cece with a fashion show and Cece let’s it drop that Alison and Paige used to have major beef, torturing each other in cruel ways. This piques Spencer’s interest and she realizes what enemies they were and that Paige has shown a dark side before calling her a “snake”, but when she bring it up to Emily she’s quickly shut down.

Later when Spencer is unpacking boxes for the fashion show a scary snake is locked in with her – coincidence? She doesn’t think so! Spencer tells Hanna and when Paige turns up later they dig through her bag and find something shocking – an earring from Ali’s grave. They bring the evidence to Aria and try to figure out how to tell Emily that Paige could be ‘A’- or at least part of team A. Meanwhile Paige tearfully confesses to Emily that Ali used to bully her relentlessly, when she goes in for a moment Jenna appears out of nowhere and warns Emily to be careful about who she’s spending time with, but turns tail and runs into a cab as soon as she realizes Emily isn’t alone. At the end of the episode we see two black gloved, hoodied figures pass keys to one another.
