America’s Next Top Model College Edition: Cycle 19, Episode 8 :: The Girl Who Comes Back

Oct 22, 2012

This week on America's Next Top Model College Edition (Cycle 19, Episode 8), the girls went on go-sees before posing for mug shots. Read Kidzworld’s recap of “The Girl Who Comes Back,” which aired on October 19, 2012, to discover what you missed.

Truce?

The episode begins with the girls acting very cold to Victoria, who asks them for a truce. The other models claim that they’re simply worried about her, but really, they're probably trying to throw her off her game. They say things like “I don’t think you’re strong enough to handle the competition,” which would obviously get under her skin.

Go-Sees

For their challenge, the girls were paired up (Brittany and Kristin, Kiara and Victoria, and Nastasia and Laura) and sent on go-sees with designers Cecilia Cassini, Guess, Charlotte Ronson, Whitney Port and Lulu Guinness. Each of the five designers could only book one model, and the girl with the most bookings would win the challenge. Like always, Laura surpassed the other girls by booking two go-sees, while both Brittany and Victoria booked none.

Mug Shots

For their photo shoot, the girls were brought to a prison where they posed for 50s retro mug shots. Like always, Victoria created an elaborate back story to get into the character. Unfortunately for her, these stories don’t seem to be helping her in the competition.

Elimination

Laura walked away with best photo AGAIN. (It’s not so exciting when there’s an obvious front runner.)  Victoria and Brittany landed in the bottom two. Kelly immediately stuck up for Victoria, you claims that she’s being bullied by the other girls. Ultimately, Brittany had the lower scores and was eliminated…but she’s not necessarily out of the running yet.

The Return of the Models

All the eliminated models returned (and Brittany joined them) so that the one with the highest social media scores would be allowed to return to the competition. Unfortunately, the episode left us with a cliffhanger. So we won’t find out which girl is back until next week.

Have Your Say

Which of the eliminated models do you want to return to the competition? Tell us in our comment section below!
