The Carrie Diaries: Season 1, Episode 5 :: Dangerous Territory

Feb 12, 2013

This week on The Carrie Diaries (Season 1, Episode 5), Carrie's childhood friend shows her what life's like for Manhattan's pretentious upper class. Read Kidzworld’s recap of “Dangerous Territory,” which aired on February 11th, 2013, to discover what you missed.

Moving On

Carrie spots Sebastian and Donna kissing, which causes her to fail her driving test. Looks like Sebastian has moved on. Perhaps this is a good thing, because Carrie has her eye on someone new. Her childhood friend George shows up at the law office where Carrie is interning and invites her to his mother Kick's soiree. Finding a dress for the event brings Carrie and her boss closer together, but that seems to be the only positive part of the soiree.

Out Of Her Element

When Carrie and George arrive, Carrie realizes that she's in over her head. George's mother tries to turn her son against Carrie, and George's beautiful ex-girlfriend is trying to make Carrie feel like an outsider. Carrie tries to leave, but George goes after her. That's when she realizes that they have more in common than she thought. Carrie winds up having a heart-to-heart with Kick, learning that she and Carrie's late mother used to be friends.

Battle of the Diner

Meanwhile, Donna and her friends try to take over the diner, but Maggie isn't having it. She fights for their booth by "accidentally" spilling a plate of fries onto Donna's lap. When Sebastian arrives, Maggie explains to him that the diner is Carrie's safe place, so he agrees to leave, taking Donna with him.

An Experienced Mouse

Seth is coming to visit Mouse, but she's worried that she isn't good at sex. So she asks Walt to give her some pointers. He shows her a video that helped him learn some crazy moves. Mouse tries them out on Seth, and he assumes that she slept with someone more experienced. He gets angry and jealous, even though he slept with two people while they were broken up. (Talk about a double standard!) Mouse goes along with it, claiming that the experienced guy was Walt. When Seth meets Walt, he tries to fight him, so Mouse is forced to reveal the truth.
