The Chase is On
Lego City Undercover is set in Lego City, a huge metropolis with a bigger crime problem. You get to play as Chase McCain and help him catch criminals and keep the city safe. Like in Lego Batman, Chase can change costumes to get through certain situations. For example, Chase can go undercover in a robber disguise that will let him break locks.
Lego City itself is a huge open world that you can explore however you want. In fact, searching every nook and cranny for secrets is one of the most fun things to do in the game. The story in the game is told through various missions that will take you to specific places in the city. The mission system is similar to how Grand Theft Auto games work, but you get to play the good guy in Lego City Undercover.
Not So Fast
As mentioned before, Lego City Undercover is huge, perhaps the biggest Lego game so far. Fans of the Lego formula will absolutely love this game. People who bought a Wii U will also be happy to have something new and awesome to play. Lego City Undercover makes decent use of the Wii U gamepad. The only big problem with the game is the long loading screens. Other than that, Lego City Undercover is a perfect game to pick up.
ESRB Rating: E 10+
