Suspect Number One
This week on PLL, there's a new Detective in town trying to solve Detective Wilden's murder, and Hanna is worried when all eyes are pointed on her mom (especially since she thinks she may have actually done it!) She and Caleb cover for Ashley when the cops come snooping around the house, but Wilden's bank vault with money, a gun and two passports makes Mrs. Marin look guiltier than ever, as always, it seems like 'A' has the upper hand. The bank strips Ashley of her title, no longer allowing her to take people to the vaults.
Malcolm in the Middle
Things seem to be heating up between Aria and Jake, right up until Malcolm (Ezra's son) runs in on them. Aria decides to spill to Jake that he's not the first instructor she's fallen for, and Jake reveals that he thinks she may still have feelings for Ezra that need to be figured out if the two them are going to get any closer.
The biggest surprise this week came when Spencer and Aria decided to follow Melissa into the woods, and discover her at the creepy mask shop chucking her own face into the water. They confront her and she dishes that she and several others had been helping Wilden target the liars but also that she didn't think he was the one masterminding it all - he wasn't that bright after all! This makes it look like Melissa is a suspect in Wilden's murder as well, and Melissa says that she's not so sure Alison is gone after all - she thinks she was on the Halloween train. They also find tons of Alison masks and Hector reveals that he owed Alison money and she was collecting in masks.
That's not all the family trouble this week, Emily finds out she needs more surgery and it may put her future at Stanford on the line, and with social services watching the Fields' house, its not the best time to be throwing tantrums and running away - Emily! Toby continues to look into his mother's suspicious death, but he's out of luck when it comes to finding her physician - turns out his mom's doc has dementia...but does mention something about a blonde girl who causes a lot of trouble! Are you thinking what we're thinking?
