2003 NBA Playoff Predictions

2003 NBA Playoff Predictions - Reviewed by Kidzworld on Dec 27, 2006
( Rating: 1 Star Rating)

Will the Lakers make it four in a row or will someone else take the 2003 NBA title. Check out this 2003 NBA Playoff Preview.

The trash-talking, slam dunkin' and flagrant foulin' from a long NBA regular season is over. It was a season that saw the rise of new stars like Chinese giant, Yao Ming and the retirement of the game's greatest player, Michael Jordan. But, neither of those players will be around for the games that really count. Here's Kidzworld's predictions for the 2003 NBA Playoffs.

The East Sucks
Once again, the NBA Playoffs in 2003 are a case of the West is Best and the East is Least. The chance of a team from the Eastern Conference winning this year's NBA title is about as likely as Ron Artest winning the league's Most Sportsmanlike Player Award. Whether it's New Jersey, Philadelphia or Detroit that wins the Eastern Conference, it doesn't really matter. Any one of those teams will get eaten for breakfast by whichever team wins the Western Conference. My blind and crippled grandma would have a better chance beating Serena Williams in a tennis match.

The West Rocks
Out west, the LA Lakers are still the team to beat. I know they coasted through most of the regular season but they've won the last three titles and until someone beats them, they're the champs. Kobe, Shaq and the rest of the Lakers will be challenged by the San Antonio Spurs and the Sacramento Kings but I'm picking the Lakers to come out on top. Shaq is simply unstoppable in the paint and Kobe Bryant is probably the NBA's best all-around player. I know there's a lot of Laker-haters out there who think the LA era is over - but Kidzworld thinks the purple and gold will be keeping the title for at least one more year.

1 I think that the Kings are going to win it all. Their defense has caught up with their offense already and their starters are great except for Divac. The Lakers just need to back off because this season they are so bad. I hate the Lakers so much.

1 The Spurs are the team to beat this year. They're number one in the country, and most likely have the league MVP in Tim Duncan. The Lakers havn't done anything all season long, and they won't do any more in the playoffs.

1 Let's face it. The Lakers are gonna win, no matter what, so all you Laker haters out there can just go back hiding in your closets!

CHEERLEADING IS LIKE DANCE GYMNASTICS MIXED TOGETHER WITH WORDS. AND DANCE AND GYMNASTICS ARE CONSIDERED SPORTS.
