Don't worry, it's not an evil genius at work, it's Majesco's Gameboy Advance Video and it puts animated peeps like SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer, Fairly OddParents and more onto the GBA. Each cartridge comes with three 15-minute episodes, for a total of 45 minutes of video, and the first one to drop is the Nicktoons Collection Volume 1 with these cartoon episodes for your GBA:

Majesco GBA Video - Nicktoons Collection Volume 1 The Good

The good news starts with how easy it is to use. All you have to do to watch the cartoons is stick the GBA Video cartridge in your GBA and turn it on. They load up and you can choose the episode you want to watch. There are also controls to fast-forward, rewind, skip to chapters, brighten the screen and more. It's wicked!

Majesco GBA Video - Nicktoons Collection Volume 1 The Bad

The bad news is that cramming 45 minutes of cartoons into a tiny cartridge and onto a small screen leaves them a lil' splotchy. They're still totally watchable, but not perfect. The biggest problem though is the sound - a GBA can't crank it up very loud so unless you have headphones there's no way to hear the cartoons unless it's really quiet.

They're cheap, easy and fun. All you need is to plug the headphones from your discman into your GBA and you're laughing.
