Working on this play is turning out to be a lot harder than I thought. I was so excited about designing the sets and making this play look super cool, but I forgot about all the work! Sawing and nailing and painting for hours can really take a lot out of you.

Luckily, I've met this really cool girl while working on the play. It's fun to have Kaelin around, but he wants to work with his friends a lot of the time. Her name is Anna and she just moved here this fall. She's into a lot of the same music as me, and she has her tongue pierced! My mom would flip if I ever did that. The bellybutton thing almost got me grounded for life.

Anna's been so helpful with everything. She used to act in the productions at her old school, but this year she's decided to help out behind the scenes. Says it's too stressful to get up in front of all those people night after night. I totally know what she means! There is no way I could get up and act in front of a crowd. I'd probably die of stage fright.

Okay, so who else was glued to the tube this past Tuesday? If I knew how exciting politics could be I might have paid more attention before now. It was a super close vote and I didn't even find out George Bush won until the next day. I was too tired to stay up all night and watch people count votes.

Well, that's it for me. I'm exhausted and just need to chill in front of the TV. The O.C. returns tonight - should be good!

Peace Out,

Sindy
