Pokemon Master Ball Walkthrough for Ruby/Sapphire, FireRed/LeafGreen, Colosseum

There are tons of Pokemon to catch in Nintendo's Pokemon games for Gameboy Advance and Gamecube. Most of them are easy to snag with a normal Poke Ball but some of the super-rare Pokemon, like Jirachi or the Regi-Pokemon, are way too hard. To catch those Pokemon, you need a Master Ball. Check out these video game cheats for the 411 on how to get a Master Ball!

Dear Gary,

I really need your help, how do you get more Pokemon Master Balls? I really need them!

Hey D1ZB3JC,

You want to know how to get one of the Master Balls that never fails to catch a Pokemon? I can't blame you! But, I have some bad news, you can only ever get one Master Ball in each Pokemon game. It sucks, but here's the info on where you can get it in each Pokemon game:

Getting a Master Ball in Pokemon FireRed or Pokemon LeafGreen

Saffron City is where you need to go for the Master Ball. But, it's crawling with Team Rocket goons! Head to Silph Co. and get ready to kick Poke-butt through 10 floors of mayhem. Once you defeat Gary (no relation!) and Giovanni, you'll rescue the president of the company and he'll give you the Master Ball!

Getting a Master Ball in Pokemon Ruby or Pokemon Sapphire

Ready to hang out at Lilycove City? You'd better be, because that's where the Master Ball is. Get to the city then head to the beach on the right, surf up into the cave and get ready to battle some Team Aqua or Team Magma goons. There's a lot of teleporting but here's how you do it on Pokemon Ruby or Pokemon Sapphire:

Pokemon Ruby Master Ball Walkthrough

Get into the hideout, head up and through a door. Take the left teleporter, head right, go around a fence and then left to another teleporter. From there, go left into another teleporter then left again to another teleporter. Now, head around the middle teleporter and into the far left one - shazam! Grab ball #1 for a Master Ball.

Pokemon Sapphire Master Ball Walkthrough

Head up the stairs and take the bottom teleporter. Head down the stairs, battle a goon then head up the stairs. There's another couple of teleporters up here, hop in the left one then take the right one, then take the left teleporter. Now, take the left teleporter again, then the right teleporter. Finally, head around the middle teleporter and jump into the one on the far right. Confused yet? I hope not because now it's time to grab ball #1 for your very own Master Ball!

Getting a Master Ball in Pokemon Colosseum for Gamecube
To get this Master Ball, you need to start in Realgam Tower. Battle your way through it and, when you're leaving a chamber after getting the Yellow ID card from Ein, you'll get a piece of mail from Eagun. The mail doesn't make much sense, but once you leave Realgam Tower you can find Eagun in Agate City. Talk to him about the mail and he'll give you the Master Ball.

That's it for Pokemon video game cheats and walkthroughs this week, but stick around and see what cheats Gary can come up with for next week. He'll get the 411 on all the coolest game codes! Don't forget, if you get stuck and need a game cheat code, and let him know!

    Are Master Balls Cheating?

    • Nope, they're the only way to get the really hard Pokemon.
    • Kinda, but you need them!
    • Yeah, I won't use them.
    • Yup, I love cheating with 'em!

I was playing the fan game Undertale Yellow and there's a character you encounter named Dalv. Dalv is a vampire yet an awkwardly shy vampire who hates intruders to his home. ...  What if he's related to the blooks? I mean... I know he's a fan made character but it's just a thought... let me explain (or at least try): Dalv (Vlad backwards) is a pinkish-purple skinned vampire who usually hides under a wood and walks around talking to himself . He has black hair in a shape close to Mettaton/ Hapstablook... and his theme...  has some  Death by Glamour vibes. Hmmm... let me know what you think...
