Courtesy of KonamiKonami's newest
Yu-Gi-Oh! game,
Yu-Gi-Oh! 7 Trials to Glory: World Championship Tournament 2005 is here for the Nintendo
Gameboy Advance! In this game, you play a beginner
Yu-Gi-Oh! card game duelist. You get a basic deck of cards and then it's time to duel with the dozens of duelists as you gain new cards and
enter tournaments to prove you're the best! Here's our
review of all the stuff in
Yu-Gi-Oh! 7 Trials to Glory: World Championship Tournament 2005.
Wicked Yu-Gi-Oh! Video Game Fun!
The coolest part about this game is that there is a
ton of dueling going on! With hundreds of cards, lots of opponents, challenging tournaments, and the same rules as the
Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game, it'll keep you dueling for weeks. Once you beat the game,
Seto Kaiba still has
puzzles to
test your dueling skill.
Yu-Gi-Oh! 7 Trials to Glory: World Championship Tournament 2005 also comes with these three
free game cards:
Mind Control - Take control of 1 monster on your opponent's side of the field until the End Phase. This monster cannot declare an attack or be Tributed.
Kaibaman - L3, Light, Warrior/Effect, Atk 200/Def 700, Tribute this card to Special Summon 1 "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" from your hand.
Silent Swordsman LV7 - L7, Light, Warrior/Effect, Atk 2800/Def 1000, This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by the effect of "Silent Swordsman LV5". As long as this card remains face-up on your side of the field, negate the effects of all Spell Cards on the field.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Video Game Badness!
The biggest problem with this game is that unless you know how to duel, you're toast. This game doesn't teach you how to duel and starts you off against hard opponents, so beginners will get their butts kicked.
Does This Yu-Gi-Oh! Game Rock The GBA?
If you're looking to cram a
ton of dueling into your GBA, this game is awesome. If you don't dig
Yu-Gi-Oh!, or want something other than constant duels, you're looking at the wrong game.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Game Thumbs Up:
Tons of cards and lots of duelists.
You can get out-dueled by a cat!
Comes with free Yu-Gi-Oh! card game cards.
Seto Kaiba's puzzles test your dueling skill!
Yu-Gi-Oh! Game Thumbs Down:
Who translated this into English? A pack of monkeys?!?
It doesn't teach you how to play.
Nothing to do but duel.
