W.I.T.C.H is kind of the animated Power Rangers of the new millennium. Five kids suddenly discover that they have special powers and a duty to protect the earth from evil from a parallel dimension! W.I.T.C.H - Main Characters

  • Will - Will's real name is Willelmeina and she has the control over the heart of Cadrakar, which has the ability to make all elements [kwlink]more powerful[/kwlink]. She is timid, kind of introverted and extremely sensible.
  • Irma - She has control of the element of water. Irma is quite outgoing, spontaneous and has a great sense of humor. Irma doesn't like getting involved in sports, and would rather spend endless hours just listening to tunes.
  • Taranee - Taranee controls the element of fire. She lives with her mom, dad and older brother Peter, who loves to surf. Taranee is a big fan of classical music, basketball and photography.
  • Cornelia - The grounded, calm and rational member of the group, Cornelia has control of the element of Earth. With her power, Cornelia can make holes in walls and move things with her mind! She loves cats and ice skating.
  • Hay Lin - Hay Lin has control over the element of air, has the ability to fly and can even disperse poisonous gas! She's passionate about drawing and she's very sincere.
  • Caleb - Caleb is a rebel fighter in the parallel world of Meridian. He is fighting to put the rightful princess back on the throne and defeat Prince Phobos. Good thing he has some help from these powerful girls!
  • Prince Phobos - Prince Phobos is currently the ruler of Meridian but he is quickly trying to gain power over Earth as well. It is up to the W.I.T.C.H girls to stop him!
  • Cedric - The leader of the elite soliders of the Royal Guard, Cedric does not want the girls to succeed in fighting evil. He also does everything in his power to prevent them from saving their rebel fighter friend Caleb.

  • The W.I.T.C.H cartoon is based on a comic-style magazine that was created in Italy in 2001.
