Graffiti Kingdom: Playstation 2 Video Game Review
Courtesy of TaitoA powerful demon has been unleashed on the Canvas Kingdom and he'll make everyone do 1,000 years of math homework if you don't stop him! In the Graffiti Kingdom video game for the Playstation 2, you're Pixel, a young girl with the power to create graffiti monsters and use them to battle the demon's minions. It's up to you and Pastel, your talking dog, to save the day. Is this artsy video game any good? Here's our review.
Artistic Excellence in Graffiti Kingdom
The
Graffiti Kingdom video game has the standard
monster battling, platform jumping,
boss fighting game action plus some
race car driving for kicks. But, the best part of this game is that you can
make your own
monsters! There's a drawing tool you can use to create
3D critters with tentacles, wings, claws, and other crazy features of all shapes and sizes. Once you've built your creature, you can give it a
voice, battle moves, color it and then control it in
battle! You can even battle against your friends' monsters in
multiplayer mode.
Spilled Ink in Graffiti Kingdom
Holy
short game Batman! There are just enough levels to start getting interesting and then it's all over. That's a bummer, plus it's hard to be
Picasso when you first create your
monsters. Unless you spend some time learning how to draw them, they'll look really weird.
The Final Word on Graffiti Kingdom for the PS2
Even though it's a
short game, you can still have
tons of fun creating
weird monsters and playing it again, or
battling with
your friends. Unless you have the imagination of a stone, you'll get a kick out of this game!
Graffiti Kingdom Thumbs Up:
Draw your own monsters!
Use your monsters to battle evil.
Mini-car racing.
Battle against your friends' monster creations!
Graffiti Kingdom Thumbs Down:
It's tricky to draw monsters at first.
There aren't many levels.
