Xeko Mission: Madagascar Trading Card Game Review

Dec 27, 2006

Protect the world's most endangered creatures and ecosystems with the Xeko Mission: Madagascar trading card game. Find out more about this card game featuring some of the planet's coolest and most threatened species.

Xeko Mission: Madagascar - Balancing Ecosystems

Madagascar is an island country, off the coast of Africa, which is home to dozens of funky and endangered mammals, birds and plants. In Xeko, your mission is to use your cards to create the strongest Xeko-system. You'll build your system by linking your various Species cards with other Species cards. As you build your Xeko-system, you can use the special Xeko cards to give yourself extra powers for help during Turf Wars with your opponent. The game ends when one player runs out of cards and the player who collects the most eco-points at the end wins the game.

Xeko Mission: Madagascar - Cool Chameleons, Funky Fossa

The neatest thing about the Xeko Mission: Madagascar trading card game is the various creatures from Madagascar that form the Species cards. The most endangered animals of Madagascar are the hardest cards to find and worth the most eco-points. So, the Fossa (a totally ferocious predator that has a nose like a dog's and teeth like a leopards's) is worth 11, while the incredibly rare and nearly-extinct Hairy-eared Dwarf Lemur is worth 17. As you play the game, you'll learn more about the coolest and rarest animals from one of the most unique parts of the planet. By collecting rarer cards, either by trading with friends or buying booster packs, you'll make your deck stronger for powerful play. However, because there is no cost involved with playing any of the Species cards, players who have a more powerful deck will probably win almost every time.

Xeko Mission: Madagascar - Play Games, Save The Planet

The Xeko trading card game is not only a cool way to discover the world's most endangered species - it's also a game that looks out for the environment. All the cards are made with recyled materials and Xeko donates part of the money you spend on the game towards environmental conservation projects around the world. So, everytime you buy a Xeko booster pack looking for the rare Hairy-eared Dwarf Lemur, you'll be helping make sure that lemurs don't go the way of the Dodo bird.
