Rampage: Total Destruction: Gamecube & PS2 Game Review
Courtesy of MidwayLooking to do some smashing? This is the game for you! Rampage: Total Destruction lets you become a giant monster and go on a city-smashing spree across the world. It's an update of the old-skool game and this time it's in 3D on the Nintendo Gamecube and Sony Playstation 2. Here's our review!
Rampage: Total Destruction - Smashin' Stuff Around the World!
Grab a controller, turn the game on and listen to how
Scum Cola has mutated 30 people into
giant monsters. Then pick your fave monster and go bust stuff! There are one and
two-player modes, a timed level and
monster vs. monster levels. Plus, each monster has four
special attacks you can
unlock by completing challenges in the levels!
Rampage: Total Destruction - Super Smashination Fun
It's
easy to play and totally
hilarious! The entire Rampage game is full of jokes, from the random chattering of the wee people to the
goofy buildings you can smash up. There are also over 20 wicked-looking
monsters to
unlock, each with different attack/jump/speed ratings.
Rampage: Total Destruction - Monster Flaws
The biggest problem is that these great big monsters are
slow and clumsy! They move slowly and aiming at flying targets is hard thanks to the game being in
3D. The
monsters aren't all that different either, they all get the
same special attacks!
Rampage: Total Destruction – Smashin' Fun or Suckage?
Even though the controls are a bit frustrating,
Rampage: Total Destruction is a fun game that's perfect to bust out at a
party for some
monster mania.
Rampage: Total Destruction Thumbs Up:
Monster smashy-smash-smash-mcsmashems!
30 different monsters, and four powers, to unlock.
Goofy levels and a good sense of humor.
Lots of power-ups and stuff to smash.
Rampage: Total Destruction Thumbs Down:
Giant monsters = giant clumsy monsters.
Not much difference between the monsters.
Rampage: Total Destruction Game Rating:

Rampage: Total Destruction is available for: Gamecube and PS2.
