Tom Cruise is back in the high-flying action movie, Mission Impossible III. Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to check out our movie review before heading to the theaters to check it out! Good luck.

Back in Action

Tom Cruise, as Ethan Hunt, is back in the latest Mission Impossible installment. This time around, Ethan has taken a step back from life in the field in order to teach up-and-coming agents. But, when one of his proteges, Agent Lindsey Ferris (played by Keri Russell), goes missing during a mission, Ethan is asked to don his spy gear one more time to help recover her. Lindsey has been captured by the ruthless villain, Owen Davian, who is in search of something called The Rabbit's Foot and is using Lindsey to draw Ethan into a trap!

Trust No One

There is a lot more going on under the surface of Owen Davian's plan than Ethan first realizes. He thinks he can easily capture Davian and bring him back to IMF headquarters, with the help of his skilled team. But, what Ethan is about to figure out, Davian is not working alone - and his team of evil-doers will do anything to get what they want. And unfortunately for Ethan, this means kidnapping his fiance! If he doesn't strike a deal, and steal what Davian is looking for, his true love will not survive

Crash, Bang, Boom!

Just like the Mission Impossible movies of the past, this latest flick is full of crazy chases, crashes and explosions. There is a great scene where Ethan and his team must fly their helicopter through a field of motorized windmills, while being chased by another torpedo-shooting helicopter. Fans of intense action will definitely be drooling over the special effects!

DVD Features

Just like the movie, the Mission Impossible III DVD is explosive! It comes with tons of featurettes, deleted scenes, commentary from director J.J. Abrams and Tom Cruise and much more! From how stunts were preformed to the basics of spy missions, this DVD's got it all. All action flick fans should pick up their copy of the movie ASAP!

Bottom Line

Like most action movies, the story is a bit thin and is unlikely to be nominated for best movie at the Oscars. However, it does a fantastic job at what it set out to do and that is to make a rock 'em, sock 'em movie. The car crashes, the one-on-one combat, it all draws you and keeps you hooked for the full two hours. The best part is that this movie actually will make a good date movie because there's enough action to keep the boys happy and a cute, underlying love story to keep the girls from walking out half-way through!
