Sony Announces PS3 Launch Date and New Controller

It's about time! Sony has finally announced that the Playstation 3 video game console will drop on November 17, 2006 for the mind-numbing price of $500 US, or $600 US with a 60 GB HDD. Ouch! That's $550 or $650 if you live in Canada.

When the PS3 drops, it's also going to have smokin' hot new controllers. The standard PS2 controller is getting powered-up with more sensitive buttons, bigger shoulder (L1/L2/R1/R2) buttons, Bluetooth so they'll be wireless and cables so you can plug 'em in and charge 'em while you play.

LEGO Star Wars II Video Game News and Pictures!

Lucasarts is making a sequel to the 2005 Video Game of the Year, LEGO Star Wars! It's LEGO Star Wars II and it's set during the 20 year-old movies. It's coming to the Gameboy Advance, Gamecube, Nintendo DS, PC, Playstation 2, PSP and Xbox. You'll be able to load up all of 50 characters from the original LEGO Star Wars, plus there are also 60 new Star Wars characters to unlock for a total of 110 characters for you and your friends to play with!
