The Kids Are In Charge: Family Vacation - You're in Charge!

The Travel Channel is part of Discovery, which has brought you Endurance and Trading Spaces: Boys vs. Girls. Now they're bringing you a whole new show where you - yes, YOU - get to take charge of the family holiday while your 'rents take the backseat! They're currently searching for a fun family who'll bring more to the table than a side of bacon. That means you've got to be interesting, enthusiastic and energetic! Each episode will showcase the hilarity that ensues as parents hand control of the family vacation over to the kids. The Travel Channel is looking for a couple of things - a family with three or more kids aged 7-16 (one kid must be over 10 years old) who are able to travel for four to five days during June, July or August.

Download and fill out the Family Application and Release form. Get a copy by clicking here.

Make a five minute videotape of you and your family telling the peeps at Travel Channel why they should choose you. You can include stuff like what your family is like, how you get along and previous vacations you went on.

Send three photographs - one of your 'rents, one of the kids and one of the entire family.

Mail everything to P.O. Box 4351-1380, Hollywood, CA, 90078. Get on it quick cuz the deadline to apply is June 26, 2006!
