D&D Miniatures: War of the Dragon Queen Set Review

Reviewed by on Dec 27, 2006

We review the War of the Dragon Queen expansion for the D&D Miniatures game of fantasy battles!

It's a royal rumble as Tiamat, the queen of the evil dragons goes to war with Bahamut, the king of the good dragons in the War of the Dragon Queen expansion for the Dungeons & Dragons Miniatures game. This new set takes the game of fantasy battles and cranks it up a notch with huge new monsters so big you can terrorize your cat with them! There are trolls, dragons, massive spiders and both Tiamat and Bahamut! The figs look great and are really powerful, the only problem is that a lot of the huge figs can only be used in big 500-point games, which is a bummer.

D&D Miniatures: War of the Dragon Queen Thumbs Up:

  • Awesome new figs huge and cool looking!
  • Lots of ways to make dragon armies.
  • You can get two rare figs in one box!

  • D&D Miniatures: War of the Dragon Queen Thumbs Down:

  • Costs more than other sets.
  • The strongest figs can't be used in 100-point or 200-point games.
