Final Fantasy III: Nintendo DS Video Game Cheat Codes

Final Fantasy III came out years ago for the Super Nintendo and now it's back for the Nintendo DS! It's a classic RPG adventure game where you lead a team of fantasy heroes on quests around the world to save the day. But, it's just as hard on the DS as it was on the SNES! Good news though, we have game cheats to help you out right here. They're all from Cheat Street, the home of all the game cheats, codes, secrets, hints, tips and walkthroughs for your fave games!

Unlock the Secret Dungeon and Secret Boss!

If you're strong enough to beat the final boss in Final Fantasy III, then check this out! There's an even tougher boss hiding in a secret dungeon. Here’s how to unlock the dungeon.
  • 1. Mail seven other PCs through Mog Net.
  • 2. Mail The 4 Elderly four times.
  • 3. Mail King Arusu four times – this unlocks a quest!
  • 4. Get on your underwater ship and head for the floating island.
  • 5. From the island, go south until you see a shadow in the water.
  • 6. Go underwater to find a cave with the secret dungeon in it!

  • The boss is easy to find in the cave, but it's incredibly strong. Good luck!

    Unlock the Onion Swordsman Secret Job

    The Onion Swordsman job is one of the strongest in the game, but you have to unlock it before you can take it! Here's how to get it.
  • 1. Mail one PC seven times through Mog Net.
  • 2. Mail Topapa four times through Mog Net – this unlocks a mini-quest!
  • 3. Head to the very first town in the game, Uoul.
  • 4. Talk to Topapa.
  • 5. Head to the northern cave.
  • 6. Drop into the cave.
  • 7. Beat up three bombs.
  • 8. Grab the crystal – it unlocks the Onion Swordsman job!
  • Final Fantasy III: Duplicate Any Item Cheat

    A word of warning before you use this cheat - This Cheat Can Destroy Your Saved Game! Make a copy of your saved game before you use it, and be careful. Now, here's how to use this cheat.
  • 1. Put the item you want to copy into the upper-left corner of your item storage.
  • 2. Get into a non-boss battle.
  • 3. Select "Item" as an action.
  • 4. When the Item list opens, press Up and A at the same time.
  • 5. If the screen flickers to the Weapon/Shield list, it worked.
  • 6. Cancel your "Item" action.
  • 7. Win the battle!
  • 8. Check your item storage, you will have an extra copy of the item.
  • Final Fantasy III: Duplicate Any Magic Cheat A word of warning before you use this cheat - This Cheat Can Destroy Your Saved Game! Make a copy of your saved game before you use it, and be careful. Now, here's how to use this cheat.
  • 1. Go into your Magic menu.
  • 2. Select the character who has the magic you want to duplicate.
  • 3. Select "Remove" and look at their list of magic.
  • 4. Write down the location of the magic you want to duplicate.
  • 5. Cancel the "Remove" and de-select that character.
  • 6. Select a character with an empty magic list.
  • 7. Choose to "Trade".
  • 8. Find the character who has the magic you want to duplicate and highlight them, but don't select them with the A button.
  • 9. Press B to cancel the trade.
  • 10. You will be back to the first character, select "Remove".
  • 11. Move the cursor to the location from Step #4.
  • 12. Choose to remove that magic (it should be an empty slot).
  • 13. Now you'll have the magic in your storage and you can equip it to anyone you want!
