We review the horde of scum and villainy in the Star Wars Miniatures: Bounty Hunters expansion set.

The Star Wars Miniatures battle game just added Jango Fett, Boba Fett, the Mandalorians and other mercenary scum in the new Star Wars Miniatures: Bounty Hunters expansion set! There are 60 new figures, including the giant Basilisk War Droid and the AT-AT-bustin Snowspeeder, to add to your squad. The best thing about this expansion set is that over half of them are Fringe figs that can be added to any team! Unfortunately, you also need the super-rare Jabba the Hutt (who isn't in this set) to activate one of the new powers and some of the other new powers are actually more powerful than the Force. How can that be possible? Here are our picks for the top figs from the new Bounty Hunters expansion set:

  • Basilisk War Droid - This 51-point flying machine looks awesome and clobbers anything it touches!
  • Lord Vader - He's 71 points of slicing, dicing, Twin-Attacking lightsaber fury who can make 16 attacks in one turn!
  • Bossk - 25 points gets you an angry lizard with a flamethrower and a ton of abilities.
  • Rebel Captain - 21 points gives your Rebel Troopers Twin Attack.
  • Princess Leia, Hoth Commander - She's 19 points of sneaky and gives your other troops a 25% chance of coming back when they get blasted.
  • Bounty Hunters - Thumbs Up

  • Mandalorians and their butt-kickin' Basilisk!
  • Huge figures are great fun.
  • Lots of Fringe troops that anybody can use.
  • Bounty Hunters - Thumbs Down

  • Evade and Parry powers are stronger than the Force?
  • Jabba the Hutt = super hard to get.
  • Bounty Hunters Set Rating: 4
    Age:12 and up.
    Price Range: 2

    Price Range Legend
    $0-$15 =1
    $16-$30 =2
    $31-$45 =3
    $46-$60 =4
    $60+ = 5
