I am almost 12 years old and I REALLY want to have sex. What do I do?

Dear puppyluverteen,

Don't do anything! At 12 years old, you're too young to be having sex. The fact that you're asking me what to do tells me that you're not fully aware of the heavy responsibilities that come with sex - cuz it's not just fun and games. Do you know that having sex can lead to pregnancy and/or STDs like chlamydia, genital herpes and HIV, which leads to the deadly disease, AIDS? That's definitely not stuff that 12 year olds like you should be dealing with! For now, go snowboarding, rent some DVDs, hit the mall with your BFF, play board games with the fam, belt out your fave tunes on your MP3 player. There are a ton of things that peeps your age can and should be doing, but having sex isn't one of them.

So, ya gotta burnin' question? Need some love directions? Thinkin' 'bout stuff like depression, sex,how ya feel 'bout YOURSELF (that's called "self-esteem"), boyfriends, girlfriends, losin' old friends, bullyin' or peer pressure, but too scared to ask the parents?
