Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Game: Cybedark Impact Set Review
The new Cyberdark Impact set brings a bunch of aliens, dragons, machines and new combos to the Yu-Gi-Oh! card game! It's a 60-card set that does something crazy – it shuts down Special Summoning! That makes it way harder to summon huge monsters and totally messes with decks. It also has Zane's monsters from the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX TV show! Here's the 411 with Gary's set review.
Cyberdark Impact - Dragons, Aliens, Combos and Barriers
What's in this set? More aliens, piles of Cyber monsters, combos and more. Here's the 411 on the new cardsin this set.Cyberdark Impact - Awesome Cards and Combos!
Cyberdark monsters, Chain cards and Senet cards all have cool powers and tons of combo potential. But, what really kicks butt is the Barrier cards. They shut down Special Summons which are what let you summon huge monsters out of nowhere, making the Yu-Gi-Oh! card game so goofy. With them out of the way, strategy and deck-building skill becomes way more important, which is awesome!Cyberdark Impact - Lame Creatures and Weak Combos
Cyberdark Impact tries to be awesome, but it's too tricky to use the cards! The Cyberdark monsters are super-cool, but they only work with L3 or lower dragons and really suck if you don't have a dragon in your Graveyard. The chain cards are solid, but only if you really know your rules and build a deck around 'em. Oh, and the new alien monsters are a waste of time.Cyberdark Impact - Final Review
If you're a Yu-Gi-Oh! pro, you can cause some serious damage with the cards in this set. But, new players will just get a pain in the brain. The best part of this set is that it can shut down Special Summons and turn your opponent's combos upside-down. If you have mad skills, grab a heap of cards from this set. Otherwise stick to the Structure Decks.Yu-Gi-Oh! Cyberdark Impact Thumbs Up:
