She's the smartest girl on TV and she's just a cartoon. Lisa is the brainiac of the Simpson family and she's got more Girl Power than a dozen Spice Girls. How does she do it?

In 1989, Lisa started second grade at Springfield Elementary and, despite being one of the smartest girls on TV, she's stayed in second grade through 15 seasons of Simpson antics.

Lisa Simpsons Crazy Family

From her first word, Bart, to the bumps and scrapes from their latest fight Lisa Simpson loves her big brother. She gets along best with her mom, but she's had a few really good times with Homer too - like helping him bet on football games or when Homer Simpson entered Lias in the Little Miss Springfield competition.

Lisa Simpson's Love Life

Lisa Simpson's love life is a busy one. Lisa's had a crush on her substitute teacher Mr. Bergstrom, and an obsession with teen heartthrob Corey. Ralph Wiggums and Milhouse Van Houton wish they were Lisa Simpson's boyfriend, even though she had her first kiss with Nelson Muntz.

Lisa Simpson's Morals

Lisa is the moral conscience of the Simpson family as well. Lisa's a determined vegetarian, an outspoken feminist and an environmentalist. When the Malibu Stacy doll started telling girls that they were 'just girls' Lisa Simpson created the Lisa Lionheart doll so girls would know that they aren't 'just girls' and to teach them that girls kick butt. She worked with Dirt First to save a forest, played on a hockey team as an unbeatable goalie and won the Little Miss Springfield contest.

Lisa Simpson's Future

When she's not reading or winning beauty contests Lisa Simpson is planning for her future. Her dreams are to win a Nobel Prize, become a great jazz musician or even the President of the United States! Lisa Simpson's aiming high and she's got the skills to make it all the way. Now if she could just get out of second grade...

What do you think of Lisa Simpson? Is she a super girl or a super dork? to let us know.

1I think Lisa is a really great girl with a good attitude. She's pretty and smart and environmentally friendly. I like her alot. She rules! Of course I think Lisa's better than Bart!

1Hey, I think Lisa is super cool. But, I think the show should be more realistic and have like a story about at school where rumors start with passing notes in class and Lisa is annoyed. I'm not a big nerd, I just hate it when people around me are talking or passing notes because it destracts me. So ya Lisa is cool dont ever forget that.

Fave Non-Simpson Character?

  • Monty Burns, of course.
  • Groundskeeper Willie is the best!
  • Skinner - I feel sorry for him!
  • I'm all about Apu!

I watched Maze Runner today. I gotta say, I was pretty impressed with it. I have watched the Hunger Games as well (this IS the movie section, after all). At this point, I prefer the Maze Runner (movie-wise), but both books were amazing too!

Honestly, that's quite hard. I've watched both movies and loved both of them equally. Maybe Divergent a teeny bit more. Still, Hunger Games and Divergent are both trilogies, so there's plenty to look forward to, movie wise!
