2007 NFL Season Preview

C/O The NFL
Whether Michael Vick plays this year or not, 2007-2008 promises to be a great NFL season. Check out Kidzworld's 2007 NFL Season Preview.
NFL Preview - NFC
The
New Orleans Saints were one game away from a Super Bowl appearance last season. Now that up-and-coming star
Reggie Bush has a year under his belt, we can expect the Saints to get over that hump in 2007. Once again, the Chicago
Bears will be a good team, but there might be too much pressure for quarterback Rex Grossman to handle. One team that
won't compete for a Super Bowl, however, is the
Atlanta Falcons. With Michael Vick missing in action (due to criminal
dog fighting charges), the Falcons have no chance of winning
ball games. One of the dark horses of this conference might be the Green Bay Packers.
Brett Favre decided to put off retirement for one more year and try for one last championship ring. Will his career get a happy ending? Another team to keep an eye on this season is the Dallas Cowboys.
Terrell Owens is always dangerous and with a new coach, this could be the year of the
Cowboys. Here are the
Kidzworld's 2007 NFC picks:
Division Winners: Philadelphia Eagles, Chicago Bears, New Orleans Saints, Seattle Seahawks.
Wildcard: Dallas Cowboys, Carolina Panthers.
NFC Champs: New Orleans Saints.
NFL Preview - AFC
The million dollar question is whether the Indianapolis Colts can repeat as
Super Bowl champions? Anytime you have
Peyton Manning running the ship, you have a good chance. It won't be easy though, especially since the New England Patriots restocked in the offseason by acquiring superstars Randy Moss and
Adalius Thomas. Probably the most unpredictable division in the AFC is the West. It's a two-way race between the Denver Broncos and
San Diego Chargers. The Broncos are the sleeper team to challenge for the AFC championship, but with
LaDainian Tomlinson running the ball for the Chargers, the Broncos will have to get there through a
wildcard berth because there's no way they will win this division over San Diego. Also watch out for the
Pittsburgh Steelers, who can make some noise with healthy QB
Ben Roethlisberger. Here are
Kidzworld's 2007 AFC picks:
Division Winners: Indianapolis Colts, New England Patriots, San Diego Chargers, Baltimore Ravens.
Wildcard: Pittsburgh Steelers, Denver Broncos.
AFC Champs: New England Patriots.
NFL Preview - Super Bowl Prediction
Kidzworld is predicting the
New England Patriots will return to greatness by defeating the
New Orleans Saints in
Super Bowl XLII 40-24.
NFL Preview - Players To Watch
Donovan McNabb - After an up and down season that was marred by inconsistent play and injuries, the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback has a lot to prove - especially since back-up QB Jeff Garcia finished the season strong for the Eagles. You can bet Donovan is going to want to reclaim his status as one of the game's best players.
Randy Moss - Playing with superstar quarterback Tom Brady should help ultra-talented Randy get back to the level he once was at. We expect a breakout season for this wide receiver.
Jamarcus Russell - Bottomline - this kid's got game. He has all the tools to become one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. He's on a bad team right now as a member of the Oakland Raiders, but don't be surprised if he adds a few more wins to their record this season!
