As if going through puberty with five older brothers harassing you isn't enough, Will Stanton discovers on his 14th birthday, just days before Christmas, that he has a destiny to fulfill! As The Seeker, Will must find six signs and use them to fight the Dark Rider to save the world from being devoured by the dark. What happens if he doesn't succeed? With the help of the Old Ones (a few local elders who take Will under their wing), Will finds himself traveling through time, wielding great powers and learning things about his past he never knew. Anthony Ludwig gives a great performance as the troubled Will Stanton so you can guarantee you'll be seeing a lot more of him in the next little while. If you're an Everwood fan, you'll want to check out The Seeker to get your latest Gregory Smith fix - he plays one of Will's older brothers. The Seeker may not have what it takes to compete with the fireworks that a Harry Potter movie brings to the theater, but it's a cool fantasy flick, especially for fans of the Susan Cooper book.The Seeker Rating:
