    WOW you r in  a really bad pickle. You no what i would do? well i would leave it up to the boy to decide the right path to go on. remember you have to let the guy chase after you . you cant  chase after him because boys do not like that you have to act like you are just friends and be cool around him and don't be flirty or awkward just be real people and be friends because he's  not gonna like you if you call him all the time or be clingy. and do not let that that girl get to you. you have to keep your chin up and hope for the best and follow my advice :)

    Elementary school age is too young to have a cell phone, because young children will have a hard time with the responsibility (varies) and it's likely that their friends don't have phones so who do they have to talk to? Middle school is around the age that cell phones can be given. That's when they're realizing who they want as friends and socializing more. 12 should be the earliest age to have one imo. I got mine when I turned thirteen.
